Continuing his father's business and with the experience gained in Broemme and Pantrans, Carlos Luz creates Barratrans.

December 1998
The truck fleet grows to ensure the conquered services
Quickly the four trucks are no longer sufficient for the growing number of customers. So is created Barratrans Forwarder Lda., In conjunction with the managing partner Teresa Carneiro.
2000
To increase the supply to customers, Barratrans team grows.
With the request of trucks assigned by carriers the evolution of Barratrans continues, with the hiring of new employees to increase the offer to its customers.
2006
The number of transport increases and the expansion continues the rest of Europe.
It also starts the development of national service with the purchase of vehicles for shorter routes and new destinations in Europe. Always keeping true to traffic with England: Barratrans currently serves throughout the UK, with an average of 20 trucks weekly routes
2012
The connection with England grows, offering outstanding services in the national territory.
Barratrans fleet continues to increase, and the number of partnerships, especially in England - which leads to the increase of vehicles and employees to provide a wide range of services to our customers.
2015
NVOCC Services / Seaway
In recent times, Barratrans has also provided NVOCC / Seaway services, broadening the horizons of our services around the world.
